The game offers extremely solid hack ‘n slash action gameplay, gorgeous graphics that are based on a western-fantasy aesthetic, endless customization that ranges from your character to even the interiors of your house, and an awesome open world to explore that has many surprises and quests for you to find.
You can even find and tame beasts to ride them and use them for both combat and travel, and you can even breed certain beasts to create even better companions for yourself.

2. Honkai Impact 3rd
Before Genshin Impact was released and gained endless fame, Honkai Impact 3rd was the crown jewel of miHoYo. The game is very similar to Genshin in terms of the RPG gameplay that offers a decent amount of freedom, beautiful graphics, and awesome combat – but has several things that set it apart.
The very first thing you will notice is the fact the game is actually set in more modern times, so you will be using guns, energy swords, battling machines, and a lot of the gear has a futuristic feel to it.
The game’s aesthetic is very different as well, so if you’re a bit burnt out seeing the Breath of The Wild color pallet, Honkai Impact is one of the best action RPG games that you can get into right away.
3. Blade and Soul Revolution
Blade and Soul Revolution is one of the closest Genshin Impact alternatives that you can find because it features similar graphics, RPG elements, and great hack ‘n slash combat with combo potential to slash through the game’s beautiful world.
The game lets you play around solo, but to fight the bigger monsters (which the game has a lot of) you will need to team up with other players. Additionally, if you’re not that much of a team player you can even have PvP combat and prove that you’re the strongest player in town!
The game has a long and cinematic story mode that continues to be updated every now and then with new chapters, and also has seasonal events such as one for Halloween.
4. Titan Quest
Unlike most other games on this list, Titan Quest does not have any online capabilities. But that does not matter because it’s an action RPG with a gigantic scale, and has nearly 100 hours’ worth of content to slash your way through.
The game lets you have a great deal of customization for your character, and you can explore different ancient civilizations that each have unique mythical monsters of their own. There’s less of a pre-defined story and more of what you want your adventure to be, which is a part of what makes it so appealing.
You will find new weapons, upgrade your strength, and even learn to use magic. And on top of that, the game has a large open world populated with different things to discover and great detailed graphics that will keep you immersed.
Eternium is an open-world action RPG that allows its players a lot of freedom when it comes to how they wish to approach the game.
It offers multiple classes to choose from each with its unique gameplay, gorgeously detailed graphics that make it feel like a proper AAA game, hundreds of hours’ worth of quests to play through, and multiplayer functionalities that let you team up with other players or fight against them.
Much like Genshin Impact, the game can be fully enjoyed even if you play solo as well – but what sets Eternium apart is the fact it can almost entirely be played offline once you download the full data package.
It may look more like Diablo than something like other Genshin Impact alternatives in terms of aesthetics, but it’s one of the best role-playing games you’ll find on mobile devices.
6. Dungeon Hunter 5
Dungeon Hunter 5 is an excellent mix of hack ‘n slash action gameplay, RPG elements, and dungeon-crawling – all in one game. The game features dozens of different types of characters to fight and hundreds of levels to play through that will keep you busy for countless hours.
The game is not open world, but every single level is insanely detailed and there are so many that you will forget that you’re playing on a per-level basis. There are nearly a thousand variations to the armor and weaponry and you will find yourself grinding a lot to level up and find the best loot.
It would take an entire article to name down every feature the game has, but on top of the generally solid action RPG gameplay, it also has multiplayer capabilities that let you team up with 3 players and lead them into battle.
If you somehow manage to beat the game’s initial content, it even has a ‘Daily Dungeons’ section which is updated regularly to keep you busy. When it comes to action RPG games, Dungeon Hunter is a franchise you will remember.
7. Legacy of Discord – FuriousWings
Legacy of Discord s all about scale, as the game not only provides an excellent solo experience that is similar to most games like Genshin Impact but also a long list of features unique to itself.
The game has a lot of RPG mechanics and a great combat system that you can use to fight dozens of different types of enemies and giant beasts. Additionally, the game also has a unique Flying variation to its battles which lets you explore dungeons set in the skies and fight enemies while you’re in the air.
On the other hand, when you take the game online there’s an insane number of new things to be done.
You can have battles that allow 4 guilds with 20 people in total to face off each other, the usual co-op and PVP gameplay, raid bosses, and hundreds of customizable loots to be found amidst it all.
8. Iron Blade: Medieval Legends RPG
Iron Blade is easily one of the most impressive action RPG games for mobile devices, due to its beautiful graphics, a diverse and expansive gear system that adds depth to the game’s RPG elements, and unapologetically fun hack ‘n slash combat that even includes features like blocking, parrying, and cinematic finishers.
This game is one of the few times I’ve felt like I’m playing an action game on a console while gaming on a smartphone, and that’s what sets it apart for me compared to the other games on the list.
The game’s online capabilities are unique compared to Genshin Impact, as you don’t play co-operatively against other players or against them in PvP – you’re given a system where you can establish your own kingdom in the game and make armies to defend your castle with.
Then other players can attack your stronghold for resources, and you can do the same to them in return. It’s a great breath of air and if you don’t mind something a bit different than games like Genshin Impact, you have to give this one a try.
9. Mighty Quest for Epic Loot
If you’re not a fan of constantly holding your phone in landscape mode with both of your hands and also prefer a bit more linear gameplay, then Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is a game you should look into.
The graphics are a bit similar to the art style of Genshin Impact, but it does not follow an anime aesthetic; instead, it is a bit more on the cartoonish side and features some licensed Ubisoft characters such as the Prince of Persia.
The game has fun combat with easy controls and you can fight difficult bosses as you’d come to expect from an action RPG once you’ve leveled up and found good loot from going through levels of normal enemies.
And if you want a little break from the campaign, you can take to the PvP arena where you will be fighting real players like yourself. It’s one of the different Genshin Impact alternatives, but once you play the game, you’ll see the similarities.
10. Portal Knights
Portal Knights are one of the most popular and best role-playing games in the market, and a name you might have already heard before.
Don’t be fooled by the game’s simple graphics, because if you explore it enough you will come to realize how beautiful and detailed its environment can be and you will find hundreds of hours’ worth of content to play through.
The game lets you have a lot of freedom with how you choose to play it, and you can shape your adventures exactly the way you want them to.
There are many epic boss fights that you will come across once you progress through its world, and you don’t have to take on them alone as the game features a local co-op that works beautifully.
The game also features a lot of customization so while it’s not as sandbox-ey as Minecraft, you’ll still have a great time with its flexibility.
This concludes our list of the 10 best action RPG games like Genshin Impact, we hope you found your perfect alternative on the list.
