Deadpool needs no introduction, as he’s easily one of the most popular characters that Marvel comics have introduced to the world. This sarcastic merc-with-a-mouth made his way into the Fortnite universe in the second season of Chapter 2 and was given an incredibly accurate skin that comes with several cosmetic perks.
He had a cute little scooter that he could ride as an emote, as well as another, emote where he microwaves a burrito (which does not end well!) and patiently waits for it. So, how do you get this amazing skin to one of the coolest characters that Marvel owns? Let’s get into it.
How to get the Deadpool skin In Fortnite
While you can buy the emotes related to Deadpool as long as you simply have the V-Bucks for it – you can’t unlock Deadpool himself from the Items Shop. Instead, he was a part of the Battle Pass challenges in Season 2 of Chapter 2 in Fortnite, and you could only unlock him if you pay for the premium subscription and then complete the necessary challenges that were meant to unlock him.
An interesting thing about unlocking Deadpool is the fact that you can’t do the weekly challenges in any order that you liked – instead, you need to do them in the exact order they were added in even if you do them a few weeks late.
For example, the first challenge that is called ‘Find Deadpool’s letter to Epic Games’ has to be done first, and the others come after it. And for every set of challenges completed, you earn Deadpool-themed rewards which include weapons, banners, and more.
Once you complete the required number of challenges to unlock Deadpool, you finally earn the character and then you can complete the rest of the challenges for other bonuses that give you experience and help you advance the battle pass – and of course, give you more Deadpool goodies.

Now that we have the basics out of the way, there’s actually another interesting catch to how you can unlock the character – finding his hideout. Let’s go over the steps:

Is Deadpool still in Fortnite in 2021
An important thing to always keep in mind regarding Fortnite is that Epic Games is constantly changing everything inside the game, whether it’s the map, the gameplay, or even the items in the shop and the battle pass. So, this means that a character that was there before might not be there anymore, and the challenges required to obtain them are long gone too. Deadpool was added several seasons ago in Chapter 2 of the game, and unfortunately, that means that he is no longer in the game.
However, this does not mean you cannot get Deadpool anymore in Fortnite – there have been several instances of Epic Games re-adding popular licensed characters. For example, Daredevil and Captain America were re-added to the game’s item shop a lot of weeks after they were originally taken off because of their popularity.
A character like Deadpool is obviously going to come back too since he’s so popular, and this time players will most likely be able to buy him directly. According to news, Deadpool is getting a new movie and a new animated TV show as well – so it’s only natural that he will be added back with the new outfits in these projects as a promotion.
