In the magical open world of Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll meet many exciting people inside the School of Witcraft and Wizardry.
If you’ve read the Harry Potter books or seen the movies, then you’re already familiar with their iconic school “friends-to-lovers” couples, such as Harry and Ginny, and Hermione and Ron.

Can You Have Romance in Hogwarts Legacy?
Unfortunately, there are no romance options in Hogwarts Legacy. Sorry, Sebastian Sallow fans, but you won’t be able to be in a relationship with him at any point in the game.
Hogwarts Legacy developer Avalanche Software purposefully left out romance quests in the game due to its complex system, not to mention the fact that most of the characters in the game are underage (and potentially, the player).
While the developer’s reasons are valid, it will disappoint fans looking into getting the full roleplaying experience.
Relationship Quests in Hogwarts Legacy
While you can’t develop romantic bonds with anyone in Hogwarts Legacy, you can still form meaningful friendships in the game. It has a companionship system, so you’ll be able to have friends in Hogwarts Legacy as long as you complete relationship quests for a specific character.
You can do relationship quests for three featured characters: Sebastian Sallow, Natsai Osanai (or Natty), and Poppy Sweeting. You get rewards as you complete each relationship quest, and you can even learn secret spells from one of them.
Sebastian Sallow
Sebastian Sallow, a Slytherin student, has the most relationship quests in Hogwarts Legacy.
This is perhaps every player’s favorite character to play with, given his darker storyline and deep knowledge of secret passages in the Hogwarts castle and forbidden spells.
You are not required to be housed in Slytherin to pursue a friendship with Sebastian Sallow.

Natsai Osanai (Natty)
Natty is also another featured character you’ll encounter often in the storyline. You also do not need to be housed in Gryffindor to do her quests.
A quest with Natty unlocks the Hippogriff, which you can continue riding afterward. This is useful if you want to travel fast while exploring beautiful scenery.
